How to Compare Fulfillment Providers Without Guessing

Two fulfillment quotes can look similar and cover very different things. Here is how to compare them honestly before you commit.
Compare the same scope
Give each provider the same brief: volume, components, turnaround, and the integrations you need. Without that, the numbers are not comparable.
Write the scope down so a low quote cannot quietly drop kitting, storage, or a carrier fee.
Ask about the facility
A provider's facility shapes what they can do — climate control for printed stock, dock access for pallets, and space for your inventory.
Find out whether your work shares a line with other clients or runs dedicated, and how volume spikes are handled.
Check the integrations and reporting
If your store or CRM has to talk to the fulfillment system, confirm the integration before signing. A manual export is not the same as a live feed.
Ask what reporting you get — shipment confirmations, inventory levels, and exception logs — so you can see the operation, not just the invoice.
